Danny Velazquez is the Realtor Education Officer and a Founding Board Member of HOME, where he plays a pivotal role in bridging the real estate and mortgage communities to better serve Hispanic homebuyers nationwide. With a reputation for leadership, mentorship, and heart-centered service, Danny is dedicated to elevating the next generation of real estate professionals through education, collaboration, and culturally relevant resources.
Isis Bravo
Founding COO & Board Member
Isis Bravo is a first-generation American with proud Mexican heritage and a strong commitment to serving her community. With more than a decade of experience in real estate, she has worked with some of the nation’s largest brokerages and gained firsthand insight into the challenges many Hispanic families face when pursuing homeownership.
Throughout her career, Isis has seen how barriers such as credit access, income documentation, immigration concerns, and limited financial education can stand between hardworking families and the opportunity to own a home. Those experiences shaped her purpose to help create clearer pathways and stronger support systems for communities that have historically been underserved.
As Chief Operating Officer of HOME (Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts), Isis plays a key role in building the operational foundation of the organization, helping turn vision into action while expanding education, opportunity, and access across the housing industry.
Koda Colbert
Chief Financial Officer
Koda Colbert serves as the Chief Financial Officer of HOME, bringing a rare combination of financial discipline, strategic insight, and deep commitment to community empowerment. With years of experience guiding organizations through growth, sustainability, and large-scale impact, Koda oversees HOME’s financial strategy with precision and purpose ensuring every dollar directly strengthens the mission of expanding opportunities for Hispanic professionals across the mortgage industry.
Manolo Aláez
Chief of Advancement
Manolo Aláez is a seasoned mortgage professional with nearly a decade of experience spanning loan origination and underwriting. He began his career as a Spanish Language Loan Officer at Rocket Mortgage, later joining United Wholesale Mortgage as an Account Executive before transitioning into underwriting. Manolo underwrote Conventional and FHA loans, earning his DE certification through U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Today, he serves as Director of Advocacy for Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts, is a member of the Broker Action Coalition Hispanic Homeownership Council, and is the founding Treasurer of the NAHREP Detroit Chapter.
Isaac Ramirez

Isaac Ramirez serves as the Vice President of Education for HOME (Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts), where he leads the organization’s national education strategy with a focus on access, clarity, and long-term career mobility within the mortgage and housing ecosystem.
Jay Rodriguez
VP, Government Affairs
Jay Rodriguez is an Independent Mortgage Broker with Wise Home Lending, powered by Arbor Financial
Group, and a national advocate for Hispanic homeownership. He serves as Chair of the Hispanic
Homeownership Council for the Broker Action Coalition and as Vice President of Government Affairs for
the Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts, while also contributing to the Black Homeownership
Council within the Broker Action Coalition. With more than fourteen years of experience as a top-
producing originator, Jay has helped hundreds of families achieve homeownership across California
and Texas. His advocacy focuses on expanding Language Access in mortgage disclosures,
strengthening FHA, VA, and agency lending, and improving down payment assistance to better serve
Hispanic families.
